Brandon Heist, 34, of Nazareth, died May 11, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Jeffrey Heist of Northampton and the late Patricia Jo Holliday and was a stepson to Linda Heist of Northampton.
Following his mother’s death, his Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jeff were instrumental in helping his father raise him.
He was a graduate of Northampton Area High School.
He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army in the Iraq War. He re-enlisted and served in the Afghanistan War.
He was a lab technician for the past four years at Keystone Cement Company, Bath.
In addition to his father and stepmother, he is survived by two stepsisters, Georgina L. Guranich of Bethlehem and Kimberlee J. Freyer of Bernville; a paternal grandfather, Luke S. Heist Sr. of Bethlehem; a maternal grandmother, Patricia Karley of Bowmanstown; a fiancee, Courtney Toth of Nazareth; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
