Charles “Chuck” Jacobs, 92, of Orefield, died peacefully May 5, 2021, in his home.
He was the husband of the late Jeanne V. (Knotts) Jacobs.
Born Sept. 3, 1928, in Upper Macungie Township, he was the son of the late Tony and Anne (Michael) Jacobs.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during a peacetime era.
The founder of Jacobs Auto Supplies, the business served the Lehigh Valley, Bucks, Luzerne and Monroe counties with four locations.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.
An avid motorcyclist, he founded, supported and participated in the St. Joseph the Worker Angel Ride for many years.
His survivors include sons Richard H. Jacobs (Laura Ross) of Allentown, Keith Otto of Allentown; daughter Leisha Otto of Florida; sisters Connie Wagner and Bernie Miller, both of Allentown; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
