Troopers responded to the intersection of Scenic View Road and Gehman Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:15 a.m. May 3 for an abandoned firearm in the middle of the road, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Investigators determined the gun to be a black air pellet/BB handgun with an orange tip. To claim the pellet gun, contact the State Police Fogelsville evidence custodian at 610-395-1438.
Burglary
A glass sliding door was forced and damaged at a residence on Wisteria Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 7:30 and 9 p.m. April 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The family dog likely scared the intruder from the residence before items were removed from the home. The damage to the door was valued at $1,000. Leash law violation
An 26-year-old male, of Emmaus, was cited after his dog bit another dog at a location in the 3000 block of Main Road East, Upper Milford Township, 6:44 p.m. April 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Accidents
Two motorists were hurt when their vehicles collided, causing one vehicle to topple, on Pennsylvania Route 309 South, Lower Macungie Township, 8:49 a.m. April 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Both vehicles were southbound when one car tried to pass the other, striking it. The second vehicle hit a guardrail on the right side of the road and the first vehicle flipped onto its left side. Both motorists were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. South Whitehall Township police, Cetronia EMS, Cetronia Fire Department and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation also responded.
A bicyclist was hurt when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Lower Macungie Road and South Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:43 p.m. April 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A motorist was eastbound on Lower Macungie Road and struck the cyclist while making a left turn onto South Krocks Road. The cyclist was westbound on Lower Macungie Road and crossing the intersection at South Krocks Road. The cyclist was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest for treatment. Macungie EMS also responded.
DUI
Gerald Ross Wall, 36, of Levittown, allegedly was driving under the influence at the intersection of South Cedar Crest Boulevard and Little Lehigh Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 2:47 a.m. March 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Daryn Myles Gollie, 35, of Palm, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at Broad Street and South Third Street, Emmaus borough, 12:55 a.m. March 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 29-year-old male, of Alburtis, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at U.S. Route 222 South and North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:24 a.m. March 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 42-year-old male, of Glibertsville, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in the 6400 block of Village Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 7:20 p.m. March 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 52-year-old male, of Macungie, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after a one-vehicle accident in the 3600 block of Schoeneck Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:48 a.m. March 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 27-year-old male, of Emmaus, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after the vehicle he was driving collided with a utility pole in the 4100 block of Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, 12:32 a.m. March 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A package containing a small plastic container holding an unknown substance tightly wrapped in white tape was found in a package delivered to a location on Boulder Circle, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 3 p.m. March 28.
