Ice Cream Festival volunteers needed

May 11 marks the mid-marking period of the fourth quarter. We can see the light at the end of this crazy year. But there are still some important tests to be completed.

The Keystone testing window starts May 17 and continues through May 28. If your student is scheduled to take the tests, encourage them to get enough sleep so they can do their best.

Our younger Falcons are preparing to take the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment’s May 17-28 as well. Again, make sure they have breakfast and a good night’s sleep the night before. Most importantly, just encourage them to do their best. For many, this is their first experience and we want to be as positive as possible.

May 12 will be the next school board meeting, beginning 7:30 p.m.

The next Salisbury Elementary T-shirt day will be held May 20.

Don’t forget - yearbooks are on sale at most of the schools. If you haven’t placed your order yet, chances are the deadlines are quickly approaching.

Salisbury Youth Association football registration is now live online. Go to syasports.net and complete the registration. If you have any questions, contact Jim Blaukovitch at syafootball@gmail.com.

Salisbury Elementary School is excited to announce the ice cream festival will be held this year noon to 4 p.m. June 5. They are currently looking for volunteers to assist in many different areas. Refer to the email sent out to SES families or contact the PTO for more information and volunteer opportunities.

Also on June 5, the Salisbury Athletic Booster Club will have a clothing drive 9 a.m. to noon at the Salisbury Middle School main entrance. For information on what is accepted, visit clothingdrive.net.
