Issue

The candidates for council were asked to respond to the following question in 100 words or less: Why did you decide to run for office?

Timothy Cougle

I am running for township supervisor because I would like to see the township grow in the right direction, keeping with the beautiful farming and residential areas the way our past supervisors/residents planned for it to be. I believe I can contribute to this community and help guide this township by using my wealth of knowledge in different fields. I have gained this knowledge through my past adventures and current employment.

John Quigley

Lower Milford is a tranquil haven for its residents. Unfortunately, we have seen a hateful atmosphere marked by exorbitant legal fees and expenses caused by hiring unqualified staff, serious internal issues, a threat against an African American family and more. My goal is to continue to work for the betterment of the township and all its residents and continue to hold all supervisors accountable and transparent. Let’s make this township a place where people feel safe and welcome.

Lowell Linde

Efforts to reach Linde were unsuccessful.
