Stephen W. Szever, 50, of Allentown, died May 4, 2021, suddenly at home.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Marcia Ann (Czekner) of Whitehall and the late William J. Szever Jr.
He was a 1988 graduate of Whitehall High School.
He was a U.S. Army Special Forces Ranger during the Iraq War.
He volunteered with the Tails of Valor, Paws of Honor organization. He was a member of Porter Lodge 284 F&AM.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Scott P. and his wife Brandy of South Orange, N.J.; a niece, Chloe; and a nephew, Wesley.
There will be graveside services with Masonic and military honors 10 a.m. May 14, the 10th anniversary of his father’s passing, at Laurel Cemetery, Kimmett Avenue, Whitehall, 18052.
