Marie R. Konapelsky, 87, formerly of Lower Macungie Township, died May 8, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Konapelsky Jr., who died in 2016. Born in Fullerton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Novajovsky) Weider.

She graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School, Class of 1952.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She loved bowling and spending time with her girlfriends playing cards. She loved to travel and see new places with her late husband.

She enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Matthew and his wife, Michele; a daughter, Karen and her husband, Michael Berry; grandchildren, Madison, Ashley and Zachary. She was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Macner.

A memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. May 15, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. A visitation will be held 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 14 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton streets, Allentown.
