The Emmaus High School Theatre department’s spring musical, “Tuck Everlasting” will be held virtually June 15 and 16. The pre-recorded production will be streamed with a cost to view.

The schedule for the 2021 Keystone exams is as follows: May 29: literature exam, May 26: Algebra exam, June 2: biology exam. All students taking a test will report to school by 7:23 a.m. on each exam day. Also, all testing must be done in person, including students who are fully remote and hybrid. This year’s Coffee House will be hosted by the orchestra virtually via Zoom May 21. The event is open to all students who wish to attend or participate. Students interested in performing should send an audition video in an email to jchow22@eastpennsd.org by May 12.

The final acts who participated in the first ever virtual talent show presented by the GSA are now available to view on the EHS school website.

Seniors should now complete the “Senior End of Year” survey which can be accessed through naviance. To find it, students should click on “about me,” then go to “my surveys” and “surveys not started.” This survey is required to be completed in order for seniors to obtain their diploma. The survey is available now until May 28.

School clubs will be collaborating to give back to the community this spring. Clubs will be raising awareness about several crucial topics like mental health, cultural consciousness, addiction and recovery and more.

Different events will be conducted during the final quarter of the school year. For example, students are encouraged to wear Global Citizen Club shirts May 12 and 26 for cultural awareness. Also, Wednesdays in May will discuss mental health awareness for Wellness Wednesdays and addiction awareness will be talked about Mondays in May.

Registration for the 2021 Summer Learning Academy begins May 10 through noon June 18. Bootcamp will run June 28 through July 2. Remediation, grade improvement and acceleration will be held June 28 to July 30. NCAA will be held starting June 28 through Aug. 7. For more information, visit the EHS website.
