Help for veterans offered May 14

State Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, R-134th, will offer veterans assistance appointments May 14 in his district office at the Lower Macungie Township administration building, 3402 Brookside Road.

Appointments are necessary and space is limited. Scheduled appointments are held virtually from inside the district office.

Veterans or their dependents can schedule a virtual meeting with a service officer from the American Legion to discuss issues and have questions answered about benefits and services for which they may be eligible.

Services available to veterans and their dependents include assistance with compensation, pension, death benefits, education and health care.

Veterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion to receive these services.
