Robert R. Conrad, 89, of Vera Cruz, died in his home April 29, 2021. He was the husband of Martha L. (Engelman) Conrad. They celebrated 65 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Earl Conrad and Alice (Meitzler) Boger.

He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He was a machinist and later a supervisor in the machine shop at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

He was a member of the Vera Cruz Fire Company.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Ronald and his wife, Joann; a daughter-in-law, Deborah and her son, Daniel Stebbins and his daughter, Penelope. He was predeceased by a son, Robert J. and his brother, Richard Bailer.

Services will be held 1 p.m. May 5 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held noon to 1 p.m. May 5 in the funeral home. Masks and social distancing will be enforced.
