Robert G. Wiesner, 92, of Allentown, died April 26, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of Dolores (Gessner) Wiesner for 70 years. He was the son of the late Gustav Wiesner and Elizabeth (Reis) Wehr.

He graduated from Emmaus High School and Perkiomen Prep School, Pennsburg. He received an associate degree from Penn State University.

He was a sales supervisor for 25 years at Lehigh Valley Dairy and then became a production and shipping supervisor for MCP Facilities in Bath for nine years. Lastly, he was a utility machine operator for AT&T Tech Systems for four years.

He was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown.

He served in the United States Navy as a signalman aboard the USS Schmidt.

He was a volunteer football coach for youth ages 7 through 12, organized and was past president of the Lehigh Valley Knee-Hi Football League and was past president of the East Side Youth Center.

Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Ronald D. and his wife, Anita, of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Mark and a brother, Joseph.
