Joyce K. Schrammel, 83, of Kempton, died May 1, 2021, in Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall.

She and her husband, Earl T. Schrammel, were married 59 years this month.

Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Walton) Kilpatrick.

A proud graduate of Palisades High School and St. Luke’s School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse at Cedarbrook for 16 years.

She was a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church, where she sang with the choir.

She loved her family dearly and took great pride in raising their children.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Diane Niedermeyer of Cherryville and Linda Schrammel at home; sons Eric Schrammel of Morton, Kurt Schrammel (Peggy) of Crested Butte, Colo.; and grandchildren Zachary and Jacob Niedermeyer, and Chloe Schrammel.

A memorial service will take place 2 p.m. May 7 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.

Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. Interment at Ziegels Union Cemetery.

Face masks will be required, and social distancing will occur.
