Hope T. Lichtenwalner, 91, of Wescosville, died April 27, 2021, after a very brief illness with his daughter by his side.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Wilbur and Esther (Stettler) Lichtenwalner.

He was married to his loving wife, Lila, for 66 years before her death in 2018.

He retired from Mack Trucks after 36 years.

After retirement, he delivered flowers part time for Phoebe Floral.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

A member of UAW Local 677 and lifetime member of American Legion Post 28 and VFW Post 7234, both in Delaware, he was a lifetime member of Cetronia Fire Company.

He is survived by his wonderful daughter, Barbarann and her fiancé, Dennis Hill, and his puppy, Clyde.

He was predeceased by brothers Howard, Wilbur Jr, and a sister, Marie.

By her request, services will be private.
