Dorothy Wilma Bruffey, 103, a resident of Rittenhouse Village and member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, died April 26, 2021.
Born Feb. 24, 1918 in Boone, N. C., she was the daughter of Hoy Patterson Greene and Jennie Wagner Greene.
She proudly completed her education at Philadelphia Bible Institute of Pennsylvania, now Cairn University, Langhorn.
She was married to her beloved husband, P. Neil Bruffey, for 64 years until his death in 2004.
They owned and operated a dairy farm in Street, Maryland, until retirement then moved to Martinsburg W.Va.
After becoming a widow, she moved to Allentown to be near family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Robert N. Bruffey, his wife Carol, granddaughter Deborah Grissinger and siblings Levaun Meehan, Rosedna McMahan, Lucy Hampton, Roscoe Greene and James Greene.
She is survived by her son G. Timothy Bruffey and his wife, Barbara, of New Tripoli; sister Grace Jarvis of Polk City, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
