A community yard sale event is scheduled for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 8 at Volunteer Field, Second and Race streets.

The event benefits the Catasauqua Police Department K-9 unit.

The South Catasauqua annual neighborhood yard sale is planned for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 14 and 15.

It will be held at locations south of Race Street - up to and including Circle Drive.

The event will be rain or shine.

There is a small fee for participants to defray the cost of the neighborhood permit. Payment can be made to Linda at 385 Faith Drive, Ronnie at 520 Circle Drive, Penny at 809 Bethlehem Road or Eugenia at 817 Bath Ave. Please pay the fee by May 11.
