Sarah Finney-Miller has announced her candidacy for North Whitehall Township tax collector.
Finney-Miller says she brings more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate solely focused in the Lehigh Valley.
She has degrees and multiple certifications in real estate and finance with extensive industry knowledge in property accounting, sales, leasing and property management.
She resides in Orefield with her husband, Matthew Miller, who was born and raised in Laurys Station.
Finney-Miller says they are both strong advocates for giving back to their community through board involvement and volunteering opportunities.
Her husband has been a North Parkland Football coach for more than 20 years and now serves as vice chairman on its board.
Finney-Miller most recently served on numerous boards through the Chamber of Commerce and is a strong advocate for supporting small businesses.
Last year, she was also a recipient of the Lehigh Valley Business 40 Under 40 Award for professionals who are recognized based on their personal achievement, community engagement and commitment to inspiring others.
“Working in commercial real estate has reaffirmed my values of integrity, sincerity and follow-through to my commitments while working with clients,” Finney-Miller says. “Over the years, I have assisted many individuals, companies and nonprofits throughout the Lehigh Valley acquire, dispose of, and lease commercial real estate based on their needs.
“My clients place their trust in me to help them make the best decisions possible.
“I feel my experience and discipline in the real estate field will properly serve the residents of North Whitehall as tax collector.
“I need to be accurate and thorough for my clients, just like I know I would be for the residents of North Whitehall.”
