Isabel M. Geosits, 91, of Fullerton, died peacefully April 23, 2021, at her home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Geosits, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage.
Born at home, she was the daughter of the late Raymond H. Kurtz and Beatrice E. Kurtz (Evans).
A 1948 graduate of Whitehall High School, she studied to be a registered nurse at the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1951.
She was a registered nurse in the Lehigh Valley and later retired from her career to travel and spend time with her family.
A longtime active member of First Baptist Church of Allentown, she gave leadership to Pioneer Girls and Vacation Bible School children’s activities, was a deaconess and a cherished Sunday School teacher of the adult women’s class.
She was deeply devoted to Bible study and prayer for her children and family.
She is survived by her children David Geosits of Allentown; Krista Vinson and her husband, Robert, of Covington, La., Karen Trombetta and husband, Robert, of Allentown; Mark and wife, Alma, of Hellertown; Evan of Walnutport; grandchildren Renee Miller, Mark Vinson, Krista Miller and husband, Brett; Kara Garen and husband, Kyle; Angela Djain and husband, Benjamin, and Evan Frank Geosits; great-grandchildren Karina, Keira, Braden and Kyla Miller and Jacob, Caleb and Arielle Garen.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
Contributions may be made to the church’s Allentown Missions Fund, 1808 N. 19th St., Allentown, PA 18104.
