Keith W. Lenhart

Keith W. Lenhart, 69, of Macungie, died unexpectedly April 19, 2021 in his home. He was the husband of Linda (Fillman) Lenhart. They would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in July. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Christine M. (Kohler) Lenhart.

He was the circulation director for the Allentown Morning Call from 1970 to 2004. Before retirement he was a special education teacher with both the Allentown and the Northwestern Lehigh school districts.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Allentown, where he served as president and a member of church council and as a Sunday school teacher.

He was the chairman of Family and Counseling Services of the Lehigh Valley. He served as president of the Inter-State Circulation Manager’s Association.

He was very active in his sons’ sports activities. He coached baseball and basketball at Union Terrace and was a member of the Union Terrace Hall of Fame. He also served as president of the Allen High School booster club.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Brian K. and his wife, Jessica, of Mullica Hill, N.J. and Darrin A. and his wife, Clare, of Center Valley; grandchildren, Maura Jean, Caelee Maye, Laurel Lynn and Daniel Keith; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Fillman, Barbara Keiper and Mary Rembiszewski; brother-in-law, Richard R. Fillman and his wife, Antoinette; 11 nieces and nephews; great-niece and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Frederick C. Jr. and brothers-in-law Kenneth C. Fillman and Raymond Keiper.
