Allen Township Board of Supervisors is seeking input from residents on trash and recycling.

A survey was sent to those on the township’s email list. It can also be found on the township’s website, allentownship.org, and its Facebook page.

The results of the survey will help the board of supervisors as it prepares bid specifications for a trash and recycling contract.

Residents will be able to weigh in on, among other things, their preference to use a private trash collection or continue the current system of a township service as well as the frequency of collection.

The deadline for residents to complete the survey is May 14.
