Lynnport Fire Co. Craft Show Starting to feel ‘normal’ again

Special to The Press

The parking lot was overflowing as the Lynnport Fire Company hosted a craft show featuring 30 vendors on April 17.

From woodworking to soaps to hand-painted wineglasses, local artisans displayed their handiwork.

One vendor, Jack Johnson of JJ Woodcraft, Nazareth, was happy to be out and about.

Johnson makes custom birdhouses from repurposed barn wood and various objects found in local barns.

“This is the first craft show in a year,” he said.

The sentiment was echoed by fire company’s vice president, Heather Utt, who was manning the kitchen.

“We were worried people wouldn’t be able to come,” she said. “But we have 30 vendors.”

Utt added that food sales were robust during the show.
