Walter F. Eberts

Walter F. “Topper” Eberts, 77, of Salisbury Township, died April 7, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Kim (Woroniak) Fogerty Eberts. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Maurice and Elva (Eckrote) Eberts.

He was employed by Lehigh Valley Health Network for 33 years, retiring as the administrator of radiology.

He was the owner of Mad Science of the Lehigh Valley from 1997 to 2007 and was known as “Wacky Walt.”

He received his bachelor’s degree from Hahnemann Medical Health College and Hospital, Philadelphia.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, where he was a deacon.

He is survived by his wife; stepson, Joshua Fogerty; sisters, Elaine Hyduke, Marilyn Shafer and Debra; four nieces; two nephews; great-nieces and a great-nephew.

Contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Allentown.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
