Sharon W. Sell, 88, died April 12, 2021, under the compassionate care of South Mountain Memory Care, Emmaus and Compassus Hospice. She was the wife of the late Sterling G. Sell, who died in 2014 and Paul Shade, who died in 1955. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Christine (Palm) Wambold.

She was a devoted Christian and she and her husband were active members of Trinity Baptist Church, Allentown.

She will be remembered for her beautiful singing voice. She sang in the church choir, at many weddings and she and her husband performed in municipal opera and the Paul Wieand PA Dutch Group.

She was a longtime employee of Rodale Press, Emmaus, retiring in 1998.

She is survived by a daughter, Christine and her husband, Dan Owens; a son, Jeff and his fiancée, Sara Lathma; grandchildren, Chad Owens, Brad and his wife, Jenna, Katie Stramara and her husband, Brent; four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. April 22 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. April 22 in the funeral home. Masks and social distancing will apply.
