Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce, Whitehall-Coplay Communities That Care and Whitehall Area Rotary Club partnered to offer a Candidates’ Night event 6 p.m. April 29.

Members of these groups will be asking the 10 Whitehall-Coplay School District Board of Education candidates a maximum of six questions, and each candidate will have two minutes to answer.

“It was agreed this event was a great way for the Rotary Club to demonstrate support for civic engagement and education, both of which are high priorities for Rotarians,” commented Candance Carter, Rotary Club member.

“Engaging the community, schools and families is at the heart of the work of the CTC,” said Denise Continenza, CTC coordinator.

The virtual event will be broadcast via Zoom from Fellowship Community. It will be broadcast live on the Rotary Club Facebook page.
