M. Mary Parry, 84, died April 13, 2021, in Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall.

She was the widow of Carl L. Parry.

Born in Chester, the daughter of the late Horace and Francis Beale, she was later raised by foster parents the late Elsie and George Harley.

She was a clerk at Acme Markets for many years until she retired.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington.

She and her husband lived in Slatington until retiring to Lady Lake, Fla. in 1994.

Her survivors include children Michael Parry (Angela) of Allentown and Julie Thorne (Edward) of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren Jocelyn Parry, Andrew Parry and Ian Thorne; and sister Margaret Miller.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
