Knights of Columbus
Drive-in bingo offered
The St. Ann Council of the Knights of Columbus will offer a drive-in version of bingo every month this spring.
Event dates are May 5 and June 2.
Gates will open 7:15 p.m. and the first game will begin 7:45 p.m.
There is a cost and admission includes 20 games plus a box supper. Snacks, desserts and beverages are included free of charge.
This is a family-friendly, social-distancing version of 50-50 cash prize bingo. Players stay in their cars (like at a drive-in movie) and the bingo board is projected on the back wall of St. Ann Church, 415 S. Sixth, Emmaus.
Bingo numbers will be called over loudspeakers and by a radio signal, which can be picked up by players’ car radios. Children under 18 can play if accompanied by an adult.
Players should enter via the South Fifth Street entrance into the church’s upper parking lot.
The Knights will direct players to the check-in table where they will receive 20 paper game sheets, a dauber and a box supper with beverage.
Players are asked to wear a mask when at the check-in and when out of their cars.
There will be two special games available for an extra charge.
All the proceeds from the games will benefit the many charitable works of the Knights of Columbus.
