Floyd G. Reichel Jr., 78, of Breinigsville, died April 11, 2021, at home. He was the husband of Janet Mae (Masonheimer) Reichel, with whom he shared over 56 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Floyd G. Sr. and Anna (Davis) Reichel.

Since 1970, he worked over 30 years at Remita Rug, Allentown, before retiring.

He was a Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing softball, watching the Eagles and Patriots and had a green thumb for gardening.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Floyd G. III, of Breinigsville, Jeffrey B. and his wife, Krista, of Wescosville; a daughter, Kerri L. and her husband, Andrew Nace, of Lehighton; a sister, Helen Brown, of Georgia; grandchildren, Addison, Jackson, Mackenzie and Anna. He was predeceased by brothers Ralph, Lewis and a sister Anna Mae Liebenguth.
