David Charles Scheffy, 80, of Emmaus, died April 15, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Sandra Elaine (Laubach) Scheffy for 58 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Mark H. and Mabel C. (Hillegass) Scheffy.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964.

He worked for Mack Trucks as a design draftsman for 24 years, retiring in 2001.

He was past president of Coplay Saengerbund.

He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by cousins; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by four siblings, Lorraine C., Robert L., Warren J. and Raymond K.
