Would you like to adopt a senior? This program worked so well with the Class of 2020 and was such a blessing to those kids, it only seems right to hold it for the Class of 2021 as well. If you would like to adopt a senior, there is a Facebook page titled “Salisbury Class of 2021 Adopt a Senior” with information on the program, or if you do not have Facebook, you may email nicolecollierdick@gmail.com for details.
Food Truck Thursdays are back! They started last week and will continue through Oct. 28. A multitude of food trucks will gather in the parking lot of the South Mall 4-8 p.m. every Thursday for your dining and shopping pleasure. Some of the trucks in the lineup for this summer are: Banarama, Big Joe’s Holy Smoked BBQ, Cactus Blue, Cone Appetit, DonutNV, Greek Street, LuLaRoe, Red Robin, Sticky Pig, Take a Taco, Warm Sugar Bakery and WOW Wagon.

Salisbury Elementary School is holding school T-shirt days April 22 and May 6.
A curriculum and technology committee meeting will be held virtually 7 p.m. April 26. Also, an operations committee meeting will be held virtually 7 p.m. May 5.
The Salisbury Township Department of Public Works is looking to hire summer help. Duties would mostly pertain to park maintenance, cutting grass, trash removal, etc. For more information and to access the application, visit the township website. Applications must be received by April 30.
Salisbury Township yard waste drop off sites are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Franko Farm will be open April 22 and 24. Devonshire site will be open April 26, 29 and May 1. For a complete listing of acceptable items, visit the township website under the heading “Refuse and Recycling.”
