Ready to receive! Donations of nonperishable food supplies are needed at Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli.

Any contribution of food items is greatly appreciated and may be dropped off at the pantry 9-11 a.m. on the first Tuesday of every month and on the last Saturday of every month.

The next drop off dates are April 24 and May 4.

Also needed are personal care products, such as tissues, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and deodorant, etc.

Please leave the items outside the pantry’s front door without entering.

Kind reminder! Germansville Fire Company is continuing with its membership drive.

As with your dues, additional donations of any amount toward the general fund or truck fund may be sent to Goodwill Fire Company, P.O. Box 69, Germansville, PA 18053.

Residents who have not yet received a membership form by mail, should call the fire company at 610-767-7757 and leave their name and phone number and someone will get back to you.

As always, the fire company thanks you for your ongoing support.

It all adds up! Requests for donations of small bags of chips, Doritos, Cheetos, Tastykakes, etc., and cases of water for the Allentown Soup Kitchen are being sought after.
