Rosemarie “Rosie” A. Bednarik, 68, of Bethlehem, died April 7, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of John A. Bednarik for 47 years. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late John and Dolores (Resh) Keck.

She was a West Scranton High School graduate.

She was a switchboard operator and later worked in sales and billing for 40 years with the former BellSouth Telephone Company, now Verizon, until she retired.

She was a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, John A. II and his wife Doree of Blandon and Adam T. of Pen Argyl; a sister, Linda Mateychik of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; grandchildren Ella Marie and Connor J. Bednarik.
