Marie (Bartholomew) Fatzinger, 97, formerly of Bethlehem, died April 8, 2021. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Henry U. and Elsie (Ruhe) Bartholomew.

She was a 1941 graduate of Allen High School, Allentown.

She worked in production for the former Western Electric and Lucent until she retired in 1986 after 26 years.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Saint Catharine of Siena Golden Age Club, Allentown; and of the Saints Simon & Jude Seniors, Bethlehem.

She is survived by a sister, Margaret “Peggy” Snyder of Pottsville and formerly of Bethlehem; two nephews, Mark D. Snyder and his wife Lori of Pottsville and Henry J. Bartholomew Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Bethlehem; and a niece, Susan A. Bartholomew of Nazareth.

She was predeceased by a son, James R. Fatzinger; a brother, Henry J. Bartholomew Sr.; and a sister, Barbara A. Kershner.
