Tilghman C. Leverington Jr., 78, of Schnecksville, died peacefully March 31, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Sylvia L. (Sipe) Leverington, were married 58 years on May 26, 2020.

Born Sept. 15, 1942, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Tilghman C. Leverington Sr. and Joyce E. (Beck) Leverington.

He was a graduate of William Allen High School.

He was employed first as a machinist and then a quality control inspector at Mack Trucks Inc., Macungie, for 40 years before retiring in 2003. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son Michael C. Leverington of Allentown; daughter Kimberly A. Wagner and her husband, Fritz, of Neffs; brother Robert Leverington of New Tripoli; granddaughters Denelle Moyle and her husband, Colin, Brooke Wagner and her fiancé, Brandon Mohrey; and great-granddaughter, Cosima Moyle.

A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. There will be no public calling hours.
