Sheckler Elementary School has a new mural that has been hand-painted by the third-grade students. Each student painted colorful tangram shapes that form into animals during their STEAM classes earlier this year.

The mural can be found near the kindergarten wing of Sheckler Elementary to help younger students learn their shapes and develop their imagination.

Reminder: Contactless curbside meal pickups return to their normal schedule April 8.

Pickups will occur 9:45-10:15 a.m. Thursdays in front of Sheckler. Five days’ worth of meals are given. Arrive with a clean vehicle trunk.

This program is available for all CASD residents, aged 18 and under.

Catasauqua Area School District is holding a board meeting April 13. The meeting will begin 7 p.m.

Kindergarten registration for Sheckler’s 2021-22 school year is now open. Eligible children must live within the boundaries of Catasauqua Area School District and be turning 5 years old before Sept. 1.

Both remote and in-person learning for all five school days are available options.
