Robert E. Reinert, 89, of Fullerton, died March 23, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was the husband of the late Shirley M. (Berger) Reinert for 64 years.

He was a son of the late Nita W. (Ritter) and Truman C. Reinert.

He was a 1949 graduate of Whitehall High School and a graduate of the General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich.

He was an employee of Ruhe Motor Corporation, Allentown, from the age of 14 and was the service director when the company closed in 2008.

He is survived by three daughters, Brenda, Patti A. and her husband Robert D. Blose and Tracy L. and her husband Robert A. Greaser and son Douglas R. Greaser; six grandchildren, Megan, Julie, Alexandra, Morgan, Tyler and Korbin; and four great-grandchildren, Kai, Stella, Sawyer and Ryland.

He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Larry N. Merkle.

He was a long-term member of the Oldsmobile Club of America. He owned and showed vehicles and participated in numerous classic car shows. He was a collector of Oldsmobile memorabilia.
