A free shredding event is scheduled for 10 a.m.-noon April 10 at Northampton Banquet & Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.
Hosted by the borough and state Rep. Zach Mako, R-183rd, this is a contact-free event. Everyone is asked to stay in their vehicle. Staff will unload the items.

Northampton Area Food Bank, 1601 Canal St., will be holding food distributions 5-7 p.m. April 8, 15, 22 and 29 and 9:30 a.m.-noon April 10 and 17.
Bring a photo ID with a current address or your ID and a bill with the correct address. You should reside in Northampton Area School District or check with the food bank by phone Wednesday mornings. You will need names and birth dates of everyone living with you full time.
The food bank is open 9:30 a.m.-noon every Wednesday for registration, questions and donation drop-offs.

Pink-Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo will hold “The Sunday After Easter Egg Hunt” April 10 at Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, 2110 Canal St.
Registration will take place 9-11 a.m. The hunt begins noon.
A basket social and bake sale will be held as well.
