The fellowship committee of St. John’s Lutheran Church is planning a congregational/community lasagna dinner pickup 4-5:30 p.m. May 8. The cutoff date to order a platter is May 3.

Coplay has two openings for part-time help in the public works department this summer. The jobs run May through August for 30 hours a week.

The Coplay Scholarship Fund Committee, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is considering increasing its scholarship awards from $500 to $1,000. The decision will be made at the April meeting.
Founded in 2000, the CSFC has given thousands of dollars in scholarship awards to Coplay students planning to attend a university, college, technical school or police academy.
