A 37-year-old woman was taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital, Bethlehem, for evaluation, following an abduction that took place April 6 in the 200 block of Faith Drive, Catasauqua.
According to a news release from the Catasauqua Police Department, officers were called 9:10 a.m. April 6 to the residence for a report of a missing female. The woman was reportedly taken from the front of her home by two white males wearing masks and was placed in her car, according to the release. She was driven to Saucon Park, Bethlehem, bound and placed in the trunk of her vehicle.
Bethlehem Police Department found her and took her to the hospital, according to the report.
Catasauqua police are continuing the investigation. Police Chief Douglas Kish said the public should not be alarmed, as this appears to be a targeted incident.
