Raymond L. Foreback, 83, of Macungie, died March 16, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of the late Janet A. (Adams) Foreback. Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Lewis and Fern (Bowman) Foreback.

He honorably served his country in the Air Force during Vietnam.

He was a commercial airline pilot for United Airlines for many years.

He was an avid golfer and member of Lehigh Country Club. He loved spending time with his wife.

He is survived by a son, Raymond L. and his wife, Lisa, of Kutztown; a daughter, Connie O. and her husband, Matthew Boyer, of Fogelsville; stepsons, Stephen M. Gould and his wife, Renee, of Macungie and Dr. John Gould III and his wife, Kimberly, of Columbia, S.C.; a brother, Robert; grandchildren, Mave Boyer, Madeline Boyer, Elise McCauley and Lee R. He was predeceased by brothers, Richard, Thomas, Louis and Jack.
