Joan D. Lahue Fugitt, 86, of Coplay and formerly of Catasauqua, died March 21, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late James E. Lahue.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary L. (Slonaker) Sell.
She was an Emmaus High School graduate.
She was a manager for more than 30 years at Burger King before she retired.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Coplay, where she was active with the kitchen ministry. She was a member of the former Grace United Methodist Church, Catasauqua.
She is survived by four sons, David E. Lahue and his companion Sheri, Michael J. Lahue, Gary L. Lahue and his wife Tracy and Robert W. Lahue and his wife Penny; five daughters, Mary Jakielski and her husband Robert, Jane Schneck, Dolores Colello, Vicki Steiner and her husband Manfred and Karen Haines and Craig; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by two grandsons, James and John; two sons-in-law, Thomas Schneck and Tony Colello; two brothers; and one sister.
Arrangements were made by Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., Coplay.
