Spring arrived March 20. Nothing is more relieving than the coming of warmer weather. The arrival of springtime brings joy to the Saucon Valley HS community.
Saucon Valley is welcoming sports seasons, special events and the spring musical.
Lots of excitement coming up! March 8 began the spring sports season. Track, boys tennis, baseball, softball and boys and girls lacrosse have started up again. All athletes came ready to work hard and make the best of their time playing. Good luck to all of the Saucon Valley sports teams in hopes of a successful season.
It’s that time of year again; MiniTHON! Saucon Valley has come prepared to motivate students to donate toward the cure for pediatric cancer. Students have created “push challenges,” which means they’ve created a special activity that happens when a certain money goal is met. These challenges range from a basketball game played between students and staff, to a certain Saucon senior getting a mullet.
Saucon Valley came prepared for MiniTHON and prepared to help the kids.
Springtime also marks the arrival of the school’s yearly musical. This year’s production is “Little Women.” The cast and crew have been working so hard to put on a show, while still following pandemic guidelines. Saucon Valley’s opening night of “Little Women” is Thursday, April 22. The show runs until Sunday, April 25.
“A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this show,” says stage crew member Claire Cassellia, “and it’s going to be worth it when the show is finally put on.”
Saucon Valley has also officially announced its prom! This year’s prom is taking place June 1. The staff has been working away to plan a prom to send off their seniors.
Thank you, Saucon Valley staff and students for putting in so much work to give students an amazing year.
