Dianne M. Silfies, 85, of Bethlehem, died March 22, 2021. Born in Pen Argyl, she was a daughter of the late Earle “El” M. Laub and Arleyne (Werner) Laub. She was the wife of Elwood P. Silfies for 64 years.
She was a secretary to several City of Bethlehem Police Commissioners for 18 years.
She survived by a son, Scott and his wife Mary; two grandsons, Jeremy and Bradley Silfies; and a great-grandson, Aiden Silfies, all of Little Rock, Ark.; a daughter, Lisa Sankovsky and her husband Eric of Bethlehem; two granddaughters, Whitney Sankovsky of Costa Rico and Lindsay Burke and her husband Ryan; a great-grandson, Maxwell Burke of Bethlehem; a sister, Marianne Laub of Laurys Station; and a sister-in-law, Maria Laub of Pen Argyl.
She was predeceased by a brother, Armand Laub; and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Silfies.
Services were held privately.
Arrangements were made by Connell Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
