Marvin P. Geiger, 83, of Allentown, formerly of North Whitehall Township, died March 19, 2021, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.
He and his wife, Nancy (Schoemaker) Geiger, were married 61 years last April.
Born Dec. 29, 1937, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Peter and Evelyn (Snyder) Geiger.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era.
A pipe fitter at the former Western Electric, Allentown, for 28 years, he retired in 1990.
He was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Dani M. Mondschein (Chuck) of Coplay; son Brian K. Geiger (Donna) of South Whitehall Township; sister Patricia Krick (Harry) of Coplay; and grandchildren, Zachary, Dylan, Shelby, Cassidy and Jaxon.
He was predeceased by brothers Rodney and Ralph Geiger.
A private graveside service will be held at Morgenland Union Cemetery, Orefield.
There will be no public calling hours.
