Joseph J. Eder, 85, of Schnecksville, died March 21, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of the late Sharlet M. (Cook) Eder.

Born Feb. 13, 1936, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Celia M. (Nickisher) Eder.

A 1954 graduate of Whitehall High School, he was a member of Plumbers Local Union 690.

He was employed by H.T. Lyons for many years before retiring.

He and his late wife owned and operated the former Shar-Jo Specialties (Sports, Hunting and Fishing Collectibles).

He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Bunker Hill Beagle Club, Lehigh Valley Trapshooting League and the Coplay Sportsman Club.

He was of the Catholic faith.

His survivors include siblings James J. Eder of Coplay, and Barbara A. Turner of Schnecksville.

He was predeceased by a brother, Robert J. Eder.

His service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours.
