Salisbury Elementary School is currently accepting donations of new or gently used books for the Cops ‘n’ Kids program.
Books can be brought to the school and placed on a table in the foyer.
Cops ‘n’ Kids is a nonprofit organization to supply books to community children. Donations are being accepted until March 31.
SES will hold school T-shirt days March 25 and April 8.
All Salisbury Township schools are closed April 1, 2 and 5 for spring break.
I can’t believe I’m writing this, but April 8 is the end of the third quarter for Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School.
On the calendar: A virtual curriculum and technology committee meeting 7 p.m. March 29 and an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. April 7.
Salisbury Township is looking for crossing guards for this school year and next. If you are interested, more information and an employment application is available on the township website www.salisburytownshippa.org
Salisbury Township yard waste drop off sites will open in April on alternating weeks. Yard waste sites will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The Franco Farm site on Honeysuckle Road will be the first to open April 5, 8 and 10.
