Sheckler News: Schools closed for spring break April 1-5
Spring break will begin April 1 and last through April 5.
Students will return to school April 6.

Catasauqua Area School District is looking to hire a district network manager. This is a full-time and Act 93 position.
Duties will include management and support of data network, server infrastructure, ancillary systems, user devices and centralized applications.
Applicants must have a degree in computer science, information systems or a related field and experience with technical knowledge, project management, process management and budget management.

CASD was notified of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Sheckler Elementary and one confirmed case at Catasauqua Middle School March 19.
Appropriate family members were contacted and began the quarantine process according to CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines.
Superintendent Robert J. Spengler said they will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as needed. He also mentioned students’ safety is the district’s highest priority.
