Paul F. Yurasits, 88, of Coplay, died March 17, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of JoAnn (Marth) Yurasits for 63 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Barilovits) Yurasits.

He was a 1950 graduate of Northampton High School.

He was a U.S. Army Corporal 1953-55 during the Korean conflict.

He worked at Mack Trucks for more than 38 years before he retired.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

He was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund and St. Nick’s Social Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Tom and his wife Janet of Northampton, Jacqueline Strohecker of Northampton and Michael Yurasits of North Catasauqua; three grandchildren, Bryan, Kevin and Jamie; three great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Annie and her husband Anthony Lang, Joseph Yurasits and his wife Gloria and Louis Yurasits and his wife Diane.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Mathilda, Mary and Gisella; and two brothers, Joseph and Stephen.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held privately.
