Lehigh Township Police Department is planning safety events.

There is a drug take-back event 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 24 at the fire company, 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville.

There is a car seat check set for 1:30-3:30 p.m. May 25 in the fire company parking lot.

Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, continues services 9 a.m. Sundays in the parking lot and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays at Becky’s Drive-in, 4548 Lehigh Drive, Berlinsville.

Planning is underway for Becky’s Drive-in’s 75th anniversary celebration.

The event, complete with fireworks, will be held 5-11:45 p.m. June 5.
