Kenneth C. Bartoni, 89, of Coplay, died March 13, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of the late Hilda E. (Klucharich) Bartoni for 50 years.

Born in North Coplay, he was a son of Caffiro and Teresa (Wechsler) Bartoni.

He was a 1950 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was awarded the Good Conduct, National Defense Service, United Nations Service And Korean Service Medals and a Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation with one Bronze Service Star.

He worked for many years at Sandura Company/GAF. He later owned a home improvement company. He was a master wood craftsman.

He was active with Coplay Sports, from which he received a lifetime achievement award, for more than 30 years.

He is survived by two daughters, Terri Matejicka and her husband Mike and Carolyn Budweg; two sons, Anthony and his wife Laura Johnsen and John; eight grandchildren, Kristin Schule, Scott Matejicka, Lauren Brett, Leah Andrews, Todd Budweg, Mandi Fariss and Nicholas and Joel Bartoni; and nine great-grandchildren.
