Joseph F. Seris, 89, of Upper Saucon Township, died March 19, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Dolores M. (Tesar) Seris. They would have been married for 69 years in June. Born in Luzerne, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Yurchek) Seris.
He was employed as a senior accountant for Stuyvesant Insurance Co. for 20 years. He later was employed as a Pennsylvania state insurance examiner until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Coopersburg.
He was a member of Bob’s Gents, playing the guitar and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Sue Fichter and her fiancé, Neil Johnson and Kim and her husband, Stephen Wasilow; a brother, Michael and his wife, Eileen; a sister-in-law, Betty; grandchildren, Samantha and Shannon Fichter and Cole and Jack Wasilow. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Scott Fichter and a brother, Frank.

Services will be 11 a.m. March 24 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. March 24 at the funeral home. Masks must be worn and social distancing will be maintained.
