Fullerton: Church Easter services set

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., has announced its Holy Week services schedule.

There will be a virtual Palm Sunday service 9:30 a.m. March 28 to recount the story of Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem. Bring your do-it-yourself palms. See the March newsletter for directions. The Zoom ID is 816 8509 8134.

The virtual Maundy Thursday service, 7 p.m. April 1, will blend scripture, hymns and monologues from those at the Last Supper. The Zoom ID is 860 0752 1604.

The virtual Good Friday service, 7 p.m. April 2, will remember the story of Jesus’ trial and crucifixion through scripture and song. The Zoom ID is 832 7918 3942.

There will be two Easter Sunday services April 4. There will be a 9:30 a.m. Zoom service. The ID is 816 8509 8134.

There will also be an 11 a.m. outdoor service, weather permitting. Masks and social distancing are required.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will be observing Palm Sunday and celebrating Easter Sunday 10:15-11:15 a.m. March 28 and April 4 with drive-in services in the parking lot.

For easy access to the parking lot, travel east on Quarry Street, turn right onto Second Street and then right onto Cherry Alley. Church members will guide vehicles into the lot.

Remain in your vehicles during the services.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., is having a spring flower certificate sale through April 5.

These certificates can be used anytime throughout the year and are redeemable at Garden City Greenhouse, 1422 Fourth St., North Catasauqua.
